Well moms been home from the hospital for a few weeks now and seems to be getting back to normal. I'm still worried about her though, I think I'll go see today after work.

Well I cooked thanksgiving dinner again this year. It came out well I think although the wife complained as always about the gravy not being thick enough. This was year was somber after learning my mother has been diagnosed with colon cancer, and will be having surgery sometime soon.The only good news is that the tumor is small.

I cooked a big turkey dinner for easter, the turkey came out pretty well but I still need to work on my gravy it was thick enough but I just wasn't happy with the flavor. it was ok but not as tasty as I was hoping for. I'll have to try something different next time. maybe some of that seasoning my mother inlaw gave me.

I had to buy a new tv today, the old one wouldn't turn on I took it apart and checked the fuse hoping to fix it but no luck.

I've been thinking about starting one for a while, but just never got around to until now. Anyway today is the anniversary of my grandmothers death, every year I drink a toast to her and try to think about her during my day. Hard to believe it's been 30 years maybe I"ll stop at here grave on the way home from work today.
